So as i had hoped for Man Utd to win, has turned into reality by the red devils veteran Paul Scholes. It was his 14th minute strike that gave the home team a great start and then it was like, Old Trafford was feeling that their team can feature in the UEFA champions league final. The supporters were behind the home team and that raised the tempo of the players. Barcelona also did pose threat in the form of Messi, Eto and Deco, but they could not crack the central defense of United. Rio and Wes did a great job in keeping the Catalan giants at bay.
Now it is for sure that Moscow will feature an all English final, with United to face either Liverpool or Chelsea.

Tonight it would be clear which other English team will travel to Moscow. Who so ever be the opponent, i think United have got all what it takes to win the Champions league this season.

Today Old Trafford will witness a big game when the home team welcomes Barcelona in the semi final of the UEFA champions league.

PFA player of the year 2008 Cristiano Ronaldo, who had missed the 2nd minute penalty in the 1st leg opines that he is still confident of converting any spot kick, against any opposition. Both teams are going to battle it out at the Theatre of Dreams, after a defensive 1st leg. ManU and Barca have plenty of attacking options in their arsenal which they will definitely need today as I expect it to be a fascinating game of football.
This will be a football lovers treat and what’s even interesting is that tomorrow will be another fantastic game between two English teams.

Boy oh Boy… I simply cant wait for todays game. Hope its ManUtd that ends up on the winning side.

Hmmm…
I am feeling wretched after Man Utd lost against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. It was a very bad game as played by Chelsea. They did play well in the first half, but once United had the equaliser (thnx to Rooney), the home team were all over the park. Also the late penalty decision by the ref (or rather his idiot linesman) was ridiculous. The ball did touch Carrick’s hand, but it was purely accidental. And then Ballack converted the spot kick and that was the end of it.
I know Man Utd will definitely come stronger than ever and go on to successfully lift the trophy again.
But i am very disappointed at the way the refs have been working this season. The English FA must take proper measures and appoint some new ref’s or else wrong decisions will leave some of the deserving teams to lose a very crucial game.
Come on Barcelona… We are ready!
glory glory Manchester United.
