Despite another injury hit season United hitman Louis Saha says he will stay and fight for his place. He hasn't been able to make it to the starting line up, but insists that he is not looking for a new club.
I wonder whether he would be surplus to requirements at United with Sir Alex Ferguson already on the hunt for a new striker. Tottenham's Dimitar Berbatov, Ajax's Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Lyon's Karim Benzema are all reportedly being monitored by Ferguson.
Cristiano Ronaldo could decide his future in the next 72 hours.
After Portugal were knocked out of Euro 2008 3-2 by Germany, he said "In two or three day's time I will announce my future because the tournament is over for me."
He will also undergo an operation to rectify a foot injury, which has been troubling him from the last 3 months.
Manchester United and Arsenal are set to kick-off another transfer scrap over teenage sensation Demetris Christofi.
19-year-old left footer who joined Omonoia last month has been targeted by the two English clubs. Omonoia's Club President has made it clear that they wont come in the way, should a transfer take place. United must be willing to sign him after one of their prospect: Aaron Ramsey was grabbed by Arsenal.
Manchester United have squashed rumours that Sir Alex Ferguson could retire earlier if Cristiano Ronaldo is sold against his wishes. Ferguson is said to be furious that Real Madrid are using the Spanish media to woo Ronaldo.
Earlier, FIFA announced they will not be taking any action on Real Madrid's attempts to influence a Ronaldo transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Also the Real officials are supposed to meet the Glazers on Ronaldo transfer. Only time will tell, whether or not Fergie will remain next season at the Theater of Dreams.

Man Utd will begin their title defense by hosting Newcastle United at Old Trafford on 16 August 2008 for the new season.
1. Roma teenager Davide Petrucci is reportedly set to move to Old Trafford this season after Roma closed the door on him.
2. Sergio Ramos has been linked with a move to Old Trafford. He says that he is flattered by United's interest, and will take any decision only after Euro 2008. This deal could be delicate as United recently reported Madrid to FIFA over claims the Spanish giants have carried out a deliberate campaign to unsettle Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo.
3. United are targetting Spur's striker Dimitar Berbatov to strengthen their strike force. Also they are trying their best to make Carlos Tevez stay at Old Trafford for more time.
