Manchester United's golie Edwin Van der Sar has added his name to the list of Manchester United players who have pleaded for Ronaldo to stay.
The veteran has appreciated that the squad is tightly and stronger than ever to win more trophies. He said there is no reason why Ronaldo should quit Old Trafford. United has got everything that a player dreams for, be it money, players, manager or trophies. Also now United can compete in more competitions like the Super Cup and International Cup. Even Michael Carrick has said that he is loving life being a red devil and has urged his team-mate to stay.
After over a month of the drama on Ronaldo's future, everyone seems to make their points and express their desire of wanting the Portugese winger to stay.

The Red Devils thrashed Kaizer Chiefs 4-0 in South Africa to win the Vodacom challenge trophy. Two years ago, United had lost to the same side on penalties. Rooney was awesome throughout the match. He was targeted often, but he kept his temper and scored goals. This victory gives United another trophy and a perfect winning start for the new season.
The victory was sweetened more by the news that United had made the move of Carlos Tevez a permanent one. United have paid a record fee which surpasses even the $60 million that Chelsea had paid for Sheva.

Manchester United returned back to their winning ways when they defeated the South African side Orlando Pirates 1-0. Lee Martin scored the only goal of the game in the 23rd minute. United dominated the game against a fired up Pirates team and had many chances to win the match by a better margin. Sir Alex had fielded in a young side with Lee Martin getting the start and so did Ben Foster. Ferdinand returned after a minor problem to captain the side.
United will now face the winner between Pirates and Chiefs in the final on 26 July.

United have offered around $40 million (plus add ons) to Tottenham for their striker Dimitar Berbatov. But Spurs have valued their striker at $56 million. United have already made it clear that they wont increase their bid price, and are happy to play the waiting game.
Meanwhile, Berbatov has expressed his desire to move to Old Trafford to play in the Champions league and get some silver ware.
Manchester United defeated Scottish side Aberdeen 2-0 in a pre-season challenge. A first-half penalty from Michael Carrick and a Wayne Rooney header after the break gave United a comfortable win.
This seems to be a perfect start to a new seaon, wherein United would be hoping to win the treble.

Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz has been appointed as the new head coach of Portugal on a four-year contract.
Queiroz said: "I am very proud and honored to be able to come back and serve my country. It is a very special challenge and a position that any professional would want.”
It surely is a big loss for Man Utd. Now the hunt is on for a new assistant for Sir Alex Ferguson.
It seems Carlos Queiroz is set to leave Manchester United to take up the responsibility of managing his national team of Portugal. There were speculations about who would be the one to take over that job after The Big Phil had stepped down, after EURO 08. Queiroz seems to return back to managing after his short stint as Real Madrid Manager during 2003-04 season.
I just hope he does not leave Old Trafford, as he is a great tactician and has great contacts. Also Man Utd are doing their best to keep the Portugese in Manchester.
