Even after:

1. Losing to Liverpool by 4-1

2. Losing Vidic for a Red

3. Losing to Fulham at Craven Cottage

4. Losing Scholes & Rooney for a Red

5. An injury to Dimitar Berbatov

Jose Mourinho has hinted that he might manage Manchester United one day. He believes that he has what it takes to one day take over from Sir Alex Ferguson as Manchester United's manager.

"I have big jobs left in me that is for sure - but I can't commit to which ones," the News of the World quoted Mourinho as saying.

"If you want me to rule out ever being Manchester United manager I can't.

"Special clubs need special managers so in theory it could work, but nobody knows what the future is in football.  If they did, that would make football betting very easy."

"The England national team wanted me as coach and that is the biggest job in England.

"So I am sure when Sir Alex retires they will look at the best managers in the world and I certainly fall into that category.

His comments come just before he and his Inter Milan travel to United this Wednesday for the return leg of their last-16 Champions League clash with the Red Devils. Having drawn the first leg 0-0 at the San Siro, Inter will fancy their chances of creating a major upset by beating the reigning champions.

So what do you feel, will Mourinho be fit to Manchester United's style of football?

Carlos Tevez scored twice at Craven Cottage to demolish Fulham 4-0 in the FA Cup quarter final.

Wonder kid Rooney and Ji-sung Park ended Fulham's hopes by adding one goal a piece to give an easy victory to Manchester UNited.

What really impressed me was the way Tevez partnered with Rooney upfront. He rarely gets a chance to come in the starting eleven, but in all his starts in the cups his scoring rate has been fantastic. Nine of the striker's 12 goals this season have come in cups, so it means that even when Tevez is on the bench for either the league games or European games, his performance does not degrade. But it only improves when he starts in the Cup games. I feel he is doing everything to make sure that Sir Alex offers him a full time contract after his loan term finishes at the end of this season.

Manchester United's journey to the second trophy of a possible quintuple was subject to delay but they could not be prevented from reaching their destination. United's recent win over defending champions Tottenham at Wembley gifted them the Carling Cup.

The two sides could not be separated even after 120 minutes and this resulted in a penalty shoot out which United won 4-1. Without doubt, the hero of thw win was Ben Foster who was kept busy by Spurs players all along the 120 minutes. But the way Foster started the proceedings by saving the penalty taken by Jamie O'Hara, it was all too easy for the Red Devils. Tottenham Hotspur took exhausted penalties in the shoot-out, with O'Hara and David Bentley missing the target. But United converted all their 4 spot kicks to lift the cup. The trophy can now be placed beside the Club World Cup and the FA Community shield at Old Trafford.

The next target should be the premier league title which seems an easy affair for United after Liverpool lost to Middlesbrough. With another win at St James' Park tomorrow, United will be 10 points clear of Chelsea and Liverpool, which would in a way make United's position stronger. Next, defeating Fulham would put United on the course of winning the FA Cup. And so would a win against Inter guarantee them a place in the next round. With 2 trophies already in the kitty and 3 more to win, United certainly need to keep their feet on the ground to win all their prizes.
