Manchester United will now have to lock horns with Schalke in the Champions League semi-final after seeing-off Chelsea this week.

Javier Hernandez and JS Park scored for United as the Reds beat Chelsea 3-1 on aggregate. Yesterday, Schalke convincingly defeated defending champions Inter Milan 7-3 on aggregate to set-up a clash with Manchester United.

The first leg of the semis will be played in Germany on 26 April while Old Trafford will host the return leg on 4 May.

The winner of this tie will have the right to face Barcelona or Real Madrid in the Champions League final at Wembley on 28 May.
