Fabio Da Silva will be leaving Manchester United next season to secure a loan move in order to play regularly football.

The 21-year-old has made only one Barclays Premier League appearance this year and Sir Alex believes Fabio needs regular football at this stage of his career.

Fabio's contract with Manchester United will keep him at Old Trafford till June 2014. I'm sure Sir Alex sees a lot of potential in the youngster and wants to develop him as a first team regular. Sir Alex said,

"I hope that Fabio will develop the same way as his twin [Rafael] and, to help him, he will go out on loan next season to give him concentrated first-team experience. I have already talked to him and he understands the value of playing regularly at a higher level than we can give him at the moment."

Fabio's loan move could see him play for Benfica for a year as part of the deal to sign Benfica midfielder Nicolás Gaitán. No deal is finalized yet, but we'll have more details in the coming weeks.
