Patrice Evra has revealed his regret at Manchester United's failure to keep hold of Paul Pogba who joined Juventus last year. Evra believes his France team-mate is a special talent who won the support and respect of United's dressing room.
It is a well known fact that the 20-year-old midfielder left Old Trafford because he could never find a regular first-team place up under Sir Alex Ferguson. Praising the youngster's talent, Evra said,
His talent on the pitch, his aggression, his presence, is very rare. He very quickly earned the respect of players like Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes. It's true that you have to win over the manager too, but to have won the dressing room like he did was impressive. It was truly a huge loss when he left the club.
Pogba has so far made eight appearances for the Serie A giants and he recently scored the winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Torino, helping Juventus up to third in the Serie A standings.
