Manchester United will start their Barclays Premier League title defence by travelling to Wales to face Swansea.

Interestingly, United will face Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City in opening five games of the season.

Here are some key fixtures to look out for:

1. David Moyes' first home game as the new Manchester United manager will be against Jose Mourinho's Chelsea on Aug 24.

2. United face arch rivals Liverpool on Aug 31, exactly a week after the Chelsea game.

3. The Reds will face local rivals Manchester City on Sept 21 at the Etihad Stadium.

4. United will finish the season with a trip to Southampton on May 11, 2014.

Manchester United will start their mission to win the league title for 20th time by beginning the 2011/12 season with a trip to West Bromwich Albion.

It's the first time in six seasons the Reds will play away from home on the opening day. Old Trafford's first action will come the following weekend when Tottenham visit on Saturday 20 August.
