Dimitar Berbatov has been linked to a move away from Old Trafford to Sevilla in a cut-price deal. The player whom we bought for £30.75m in 2008 could be sold for as little as £12m.

The Bulgarian's contract will run out next summer, and I don't think Sir Alex will be willing to offer him a new one for two reasons:

  1. The gaffer is looking to revamp his squad

  2. The phenomenal emergence of Javier Hernandez has seen Berbatov warming the bench too often

In fact, Fergie may cash-on this opportunity given that Berbatov is currently the top scorer in the league. He has scored 22 goals and three hat-tricks, but somehow he has never been well received by Old Trafford fans.

Berbatov has been linked with moves to Germany and Turkey as Bayern Munich and other clubs have shown interest in acquiring his services.

The only thing that seems weird to me is £12m seems way too less for a player who was bought for over £30m.

Will Berbatov leave United for Sevilla - What do you think?

Manchester United had something to cheer about after their derby defeat to Man City in the FA Cup as four of their players were included in the 2010-11 PFA Premier League Team of the Year.

The players who made it to the starting eleven include - Edwin van der Sar, Nemanja Vidic, Nani and Premier League top goalscorer Dimitar Berbatov.

Jack Wilshere won PFA Young Player of the Year while Gareth Bale was named PFA Player of the Year.

Here's the complete list of PFA's Premier League Team of the Year

Van der Sar (Man Utd); Sagna (Arsenal), Vidic (Man Utd), Kompany (Man City), Cole (Chelsea); Nani (Man Utd), Nasri (Arsenal), Wilshere (Arsenal), Bale (Tottenham); Tevez (Man City), Berbatov (Man Utd).

Manchester United will now have to lock horns with Schalke in the Champions League semi-final after seeing-off Chelsea this week.

Javier Hernandez and JS Park scored for United as the Reds beat Chelsea 3-1 on aggregate. Yesterday, Schalke convincingly defeated defending champions Inter Milan 7-3 on aggregate to set-up a clash with Manchester United.

The first leg of the semis will be played in Germany on 26 April while Old Trafford will host the return leg on 4 May.

The winner of this tie will have the right to face Barcelona or Real Madrid in the Champions League final at Wembley on 28 May.

Today's game against Chelsea in the Champions League is a crucial one for Manchester United and I feel Sir Alex Ferguson will once again leave Dimitar Berbatov on the bench.

I know he's the Premier League's top scorer this campaign with 21 goals but when it comes to the big games, Berbatov usually finds himself on the bench. He was left out against Arsenal and Chelsea this season and I feel tonight will be no different.

With so much at stake, Fergie will definitely go for a strong and attacking line up. And given the atmosphere at Old Trafford tonight, I'm sure we're going to score some goals and the most likely ones to do that are Rooney, Chicharito, Nani and Valencia.

Wayne Rooney is sure to start. He's currently serving a 2 match ban and didn't play against Fulham. So he'll be fresh and I feel Javier Hernandez will be paired with him.

With a 4-4-2, Sir Alex will be hoping for Rooney and Chicharito to trouble Chelsea's central defense with Valencia and Nani being a constant threat on the wings.

A win against the Blues will not only put us in the Semi-Finals but will further dent Chelsea's aspirations. With so much to play for, I don't see Berbatov making it to the starting eleven.

What do you think: Will Dimitar Berbatov start against Chelsea today?

Gary Neville who announced his retirement from the game in February after making more than 600 for Manchester United will play against Juventus for his testimonial.

To celebrate Neville's illustrious career, Old Trafford will play host to a friendly clash with Juventus on Tuesday 24 May.

"I'm delighted to be given this game by the club," Gary said.

"It's going to be a very emotional night for me, especially as I pull on that red shirt once more in what will be my last game for the club. I intend to savour every moment and I hope the fans can share in my special night."

United's gaffer, Sir Alex Ferguson said "Gary has been a loyal servant of Manchester United and this is a fitting tribute to honour Gary and his career.

"It also gives fans the opportunity to show admiration and appreciation for a player who's very much one of them. We've had many great games against Juventus in the past and I'm sure this will be another memorable night."

Gary Neville has decided to donate all the proceeds from his testimonial to support sustainable projects within the community, while he also has plans for supporter initiatives at home and abroad.

Thank you Gary for being such an awesome Red Devil!
