That’s how the recent Carling Cup match between Man Utd and Middlesbrough ended with a horrific red card tackle by Emmanuel Pogatetz on United youngster Rodrigo Possebon. Possebon needed oxygen before he was taken to the hospital. Everything was fine later as Possebon did not break his leg and Pogatez deciding to apologize for his tackle.

This victory saw the return of CR7 in goal scoring form and helped United progress to the 4^th round. This is United’s first victory in 5 games.
