So here it is... the new era at Manchester United will officially begin with a home game against Swansea City. This historic first Barclays Premier League fixture under manager Louis van Gaal is provisionally scheduled for Saturday 16 August.
The first local derby against Manchester City will take place on Saturday 1 November at the Etihad Stadium.
